A short film by Sina Salimi
In the continuous war between Israel and Palestine, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) invented a practice
to make air strikes more efficient. Before bombing a civilian area, they call the inhabitants of the house, and inform them that their home is going to be bombed in less than 10 minutes.
They call it Roof Knocking.
In war-stricken Palestine, a woman prepares a meal to break the fast in the month of Ramadan.
A phone call by an Israeli soldier alerts her of the bombing of her building in ten minutes.
Coming to accept her family’s fate is the only way she can make a stand for her life,
with grim consequences.
